STUDIA TRANSLATORICA
VOL. 16 (2025)
Science of Translation: Paradigms – Methodologies – Methods
The 16th volume of the academic journal Studia Translatorica will be dedicated to metascientific factors within the science of translation research and the practical outcomes of methods tailored to exploring translational reality. The primary objective of this volume is to illuminate the paradigmatic diversity inherent in observations of translational reality and the array of research methods employed. The varied approaches in translation research enable depicting the complexity of the research object. Attaining mutually complementing results and explications would significantly enhance academic reflections on translation, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of translation as a phenomenon. The planned volume aims conclusively to illustrate intricate complementarity of perspectives within their paradigmatic characteristics.
We welcome submissions that directly engage with metascientific issues, as well as those presenting research findings on different kinds of translation. Additionally, articles addressing issues in translation didactics, particularly those grounded in clear paradigmatic and conceptional frameworks would be of great interest to us.
Paper proposals are to be submitted until November 15th, 2024, to the journal’s e-mail address: studia.translatorica@uwr.edu.pl.A paper proposal must contain a title, an abstract of 150–200 words and 3–5 key words.
